Welcome! Check out our featured DC area business Maids in Black, DC Cleaning Services.

Editor’s Note:  Go here to win a collection of Gourmet Yola Products!

So in my search to bring you the most awesome 365 Things to do in DC, every now and again I come across an outfit that just gets it.

Quite often, it’s the same combination of things that makes the place awesome:

1) A passionate group of people

2) A great product or service

3) A slightly weird “je ne sais quoi” that makes the place feel fun and inviting.

Yola DC, started by a father and daughter team, has figured this combination out and has quickly become the go-to spot for fresh yogurt, parfaits, and smoothies made from REAL locally sourced ingredients.

They are a true Green business with an environmentally friendly model and 100% organic ingredients.

When you add friendly service, a really cool interior design, awesome products, and an obssession with protecting the environment, you get a spot that bum-rushes our list of awesome DC experiences.

You should deinitely stop by and check out their nutritional snacks, coffee, yogurts, and just say hi to the cool peeps over there the next time you’re in the Dupont area.

Yola is definitely one of DC’s most interesting new spots!

I’ve heard of this spot, but haven’t had the chance to check them out yet. I’ll definitely see if I can make it over that way this weekend though. It sounds lovely.

Great idea for a contest by the way!
