Welcome! Check out our featured DC area business Maids in Black, DC Cleaning Services.

It’s ridiculously hard for me to write about something I’m not passionate about.

Seriously, if I had to post about lackluster experiences this blog would feel like a job.  That’s why I only write about experiences that I’d recommend to my closest friends without thinking twice.

That’s you!

Well the Odyssey Dinner Cruise makes the list with no question.  I was there recently and had a great time, so of course I had to share it with you guys.

It’s a lovely boat that has a nice open air feel.  It has a really wide base, so you almost forget that you’re moving (perfect for me because I’m prone to sea-sickness).

Their live band is pretty awesome too.  I didn’t get the “cruise-ship” singer vibe at all.  These were some talented folks that sang everything from Sade to Jill Scott, to the oldie goldies that are a must on a cruise.

The food: Good.  We’re not talking 5 star quality restaurant food, but I did enjoy my 3 course meal: seafood melange, stuffed pasta, and cheesecake.

Either way, The Odyssey Dinner cruise in Washington DC is more about the experience.  Folks on board were in a great mood, and the staff was attentive and fun.  Great live music, good food, and fun people makes for an awesome cruise.

Make sure to sharpen your Cha-Cha skills in the mirror before you go.  (I wish I had).

Have a blast!

I went for brunch a few weeks ago and had a great time. I’ll have to check it out at night, I’d imagine the views of the Potomac at night would be really cool.
