Welcome! Check out our featured DC area business Maids in Black, DC Cleaning Services.

Thanks to Fisola Fasehun, our awesome new guest writer, for this post on H Street Festival DC, held on September 17, from noon to 7 pm, on H St. between 8th and 14th Street NE.

H Street is one of the up and coming neighborhoods in DC. A mixture of unique restaurants, unpretentious bars and a burgeoning art scene make H Street an increasingly popular destination.

While there are a lot of greats going on in the neighborhood these days, the distance and spotty transportation to the area admittedly serve as an impediment to exploring all the neighborhood has to offer.

Well, the annual H Street Festival taking place this Saturday gives people the chance to explore a sneak peek of what the neighborhood has to offer.

From the Captain Morgan Kostume Karaoke stage, to a pie-eating contest sponsored by DangerouslyDelicious pie and Gallery OonH, to live music and an Atlas Performing Center/Joy of Motion dance stage, the festival promises to highlight the best that the H St has to offer.

The H St Festival is taking place September 17, from noon to 7 pm, on H St. between 8th and 14th Street NE. The closest metro station is Union Station, or festival-goers can take free shuttles from the Eastern Market metro station.

Have a blast!
