46. Global Zero Concert-Free Energy Band

Posted at April 6, 2011 by 5 Comments

Welcome! Check out our featured DC area business Maids in Black, DC Cleaning Services.

A free concert sounds awesome, doesn’t it?  And we’re talking The Free Energy Band!  Fresh off of a performance on the David Letterman show, The Rolling Stone’s pick for one of the top new bands in 2010, will be throwing a FREE show at George Washington University.

Cool stuff, you say.  But there’s more to this concert.

The concert is only one component of a much larger convention called GZ|DC 2011.  GlobalZero, a group that includes more than 300 political, military, business, faith, and civic leaders works to eliminate nuclear weapons worldwide.

And this weekend, they’re in the city.

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.  The important thing is not to stop questioning ~ Albert Einstein

The concert is a culmination of days of work that could literally end up saving the planet.  I truly believe this.

Get out there, enjoy the concert, and be counted in this growing grassroots movement dedicated to bringing us one step closer to a truly peaceful world.

Rock all the way out and have a blast!

When: Saturday April 9th at 7 PM
Where: George Washington University Quad

Very cool of Free Energy to throw this free concert. I’ve followed them from their early Philly days when I lived in Delaware. Will be fun to catch them at GW.

You understand consequently drastically with regards to this particular subject, made me i think accept is as true coming from numerous many perspectives. It’s similar to women and men don’t seem to be intrigued except in cases where it truly is something to complete along with Lady gaga! Your own things great. Usually handle up!
