98. DC Asian Festival 2011

Welcome! Check out our featured DC area business Maids in Black, DC Cleaning Services.
So this is a bit of a last minute event, held Saturday July 23rd and Sunday July 24th. I would have missed it if not for @hammylatkes over at Hamhocksandlatkedrops. Read on to check out the DC Asian Festival 2011.
Okay, so here I am sharing an event on the same day it’s happening. For shame!
Blame it on the…no not the alcohol, just the crazy fun that we’ve been having on the blog recently and the spinoffs we have in the works. (It’s going to be well worth it when we’re done, promise!)
Well If you’re free today July 23rd, or tomorrow July 24th, take a trip to check out the DC Asian Festival 2011. Celebrating all things Asian.
The DC Asian Festival has grown into a huge success over the years by attracting attendees from all over the D.C. Metro area and beyond.
Get your Asian food on with over 40 food vendors, and enjoy the music and dance performances and some amazing arts and craft.
The DC Asian Festival was created to promote a greater understanding of Asian countries and cultures. An opportunity to learn about it each and to build closer knit communities.
So much Win!
Hope you’ll check out the DC Asian Festival this weekend.
P.S. There’s some fun stuff for the kids as well, so this could make a nice family outing for the weekend.
