15. Cupid’s Undie Run
Washington DC, you so crazy! Running in your best undies for Valentine’s day? It’s almost like going deep-sea diving for Christmas. The two things just don’t seem to go together. And that’s precisely WHY we love the idea!
Cupid’s Undie Run is an annual charity event to raise money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. It’s a 1.75 mile lap around the U.S. Capitol Building in your best valentine’s day skivvies.
I know you’ve probably had dreams of running around DC in your underwear.
I mean, who hasn’t?
Well now is your chance to get out there and make it happen. If you don’t think you can bear the elements (I know, it’s a little chilly out there) you can go as a spectator and join in the celebrations afterward at a nearby bar designated for post run festivities.
It looks like loads of fun, but at the heart of all this is a wonderful cause to fight a disease that is so debillatating to thousands of children around the country.

So, does this sound like something you would do? It looks like awesome fun and it’s for a great cause.
Date and Time: February 12, 2011, 12 – 4 p.m.
319 Pennsylvania Ave, SE.
Update: Spoke to the folks organizing the event and it’s too late to register, but you can go as a spectator and get in on the after run party at 18th Amendment Bar. They will be awesome drinks specials and a portion of the proceeds goes to the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
