104. Columbia Heights Day
It’s here again. And per usual they promise it’s going to be bigger and better.
The skeptic in me thinks they’re right.
Columbia Heights Day is among the best community festivals in Washington D.C. Each year D.C Metro residents in the thousands descend on Columbia Heights to celebrate the best the community has to offer.
You can bring the entire family and go all out with hula hooping and family games.
Or check out the dance performances, singing, and exhibitions from Columbia Heights businesses and residents.
For the Columbia Heights day 2011, the festival includes the DC State Fair and you’ll get to enjoy contests, demonstrations, and crazy randomness like the funkiest looking vegetable and the cupcake eating contest.
Columbia Heights day is a great fun family outing. Hope you have a blast!
