Who needs elves? Make someone a painting for the holidays! The roving art party ArtJamz is making its first appearance in Georgetown just in time for the holidays – and the location and extra goodies couldn’t be better. They’ll be turning the gorgeous General Walter Smith Mansion into a creative playground for two nights, Nov 30th and Dec 01st.

$65 includes all-you-can-drink beer, wine and vitaminwater zero, hors d’œuvres, free pinkberry fro-yo, great music, a 22 x 28 canvas that you get to paint and keep, unlimited acrylic paints, brushes, art materials, tips from our ArtJamz Creative Enablers and a chance to meet and bond with your fellow intrepid painters.

ArtJamz will also be heading to Lamont Bishop Gallery December 14th and 15th.

Since launching in Summer 2010, ArtJamz has turned the city’s creative scene upside by getting Washingtonians engaged and participating in the creative process.   Sold-out sessions have been held at The American Art Museum, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, Irvine Contemporary, Long View Gallery, plus at restaurants such as Cafe Asia and empty retail spaces from H Street NE to Crystal City and Columbia Pike.
