125. Art all Night Washington DC | Nuit Blanche DC
Art All Night : Nuit Blanche DC is an all-night exploration and celebration of contemporary art, stretching from the heart of Chinatown to the Shaw neighborhood.
Art All Night (Nuit Blance DC) was conceived by Ariana Austin.
Spellbound by a similar event in Paris, Ariana was excited by the thought of museums and public places transformed by art and figured the idea would flourish in D.C as well.
On September 24th from 7pm to 3am, indoor and outdoor venues in Washington D.C will be transformed with works of art from from DC creatives working in a range of various media.
Grab some coffee and catch street performances, live music, and visual arts in a first of its kind collaboration of folks in the DC art scene that runs well into the early morning.
With this inaugural festival Washington DC joins a global network of Nuit Blanche all-night arts events, that started in Paris in 2002 and has captivated audiences from Toronto to Tel Aviv.
Stay awake and take in the magic, live events, amazing art, and creative use of D.C museums and outdoor locations.
Should be a blast!
