Welcome! Check out our featured DC area business Maids in Black, DC Cleaning Services.

Today’s post idea is a tip from @convertingme from Converting a Spendthrift.  Thanks for the heads up!  Free movies overlooking the Potomac on a pleasant evening.  It’s a no brainer.

I’ve been living in the D.C area for a little over 6 years now and I’ve noticed something.

I still don’t know what’s going on.

It’s impossible to stay up on everything that’s happening in this vibrant city.  Fun things to do in dc pop up daily, and it’s been a full time job just trying to keep up.  Well, today’s post is a Free trip to Movies on the Potomac at the National Harbor.

Except the movies are on an outside projector so you can take in this lovely view while you’re at it.

Every Friday night until September 30, the Movies on the Potomac will be hosting a free outdoor screening of a movie for your viewing pleasure.

And the movie listing is pretty good as well: Inception, The social Network, and other hits make up the line up.

This would make a fun date night, or if you have kids, bring them to the kid friendly screenings on Sundays.

Go here for the full lineup. Free outdoor movies on the Potomac…Can’t beat that!
