Welcome! Check out our featured DC area business Maids in Black, DC Cleaning Services.

So on Day 136 of our epic journey of 365 Things to do in DC I thought you might want to check out the Potraits after Dark event at the Smithsonian.   This time around the focus is on Asian artists and the awesome new Asian American portrait exhibition.

You’ll be immersed in an fun evening that goes a bit deeper than your typical happy hour.

Good music, good food, good art…can’t beat that!

Take in the music and performance art at the National Portrait Gallery while hanging with some good friends.

This takes place tomorrow, Friday November 4th from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

View the exhibition Portraiture Now: Asian American Portraits of Encounter and converse with exhibit curators and Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program staff about these provocative works.

Can’t think of a better way to kick off the weekend.

Enjoy!

Great photo’s! Is this the Smithsonian? I haven’t been in DC so I don’t know if that’s the real thing! I’d love to visit it someday!
